Coinstar Concept Animations

Standing in while an Interactive Developer was out on vacation, Ben was asked to create some animations in Flash based off of Coinstars existing Flash banners. The creative direction loosely specified ideas of fun, playfulness, and holidays.

Using the existing Coinstar Flash animations and brand guidelines as a starting point, Ben took the creative direction and turned it in to several new animations. This involved not only designing the piece and animating existing art, but also creating new assets to use for each particular theme.

Ben paid careful attention to detail in order to make the movements and transitions as natural as possible and to give a sense of personality to the objects with the aim of creating interest and engagement with the viewer.
