SharePoint Site Customization & Branding

Straight out of the box, all SharePoint sites look essentially the same. For many clients that's fine as they are concerned more with the functionality and features than with the looks of the site. Frequently, however, clients want the site to be in line with the company or department brand and, therefore, ask for either a partial or full site customization.

Full site customizations require knowledge of ASP.NET as well as the positioning and function of many SharePoint specific controls. In addition to re-structuring the master pages and creating new layout pages to provide a different page structure, Ben worked heavily on the CSS properties of the various elements modifying some existing rules and creating others to incorporate brand-specific colors and graphic elements into each site.
